The Human Resources Associate supports the human resources department in the daily administration of its activities. The AIER HR department serves local staff, a growing remote workforce and its subsidiary's employees. A primary focus is the administration of payroll and benefits for both organizations.

Duties:

Process biweekly multi-state, multi-company payrolls

Administer benefits enrollments and changes

Maintain employee records

Assist in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms or documents

Answer basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings

Schedule interviews, orientations, or training sessions

Input HR-related data and compile standard reports for management review

Other related administrative tasks

Qualifications:

Full understanding of payroll practices

Leave and ERISA plan benefits administration experience

Detail oriented with a record of accuracy

Knowledge of computer applications and HR-specific software programs

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Works well and maintains composure under pressure

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

Knowledge of resume databases and Applicant Tracking System software a plus

Bachelor's degree and 1 year of successful HR experience (high school diploma or GED with 5 years of related experience)

Knowledge of employment visas a plus
